Terms of Service

Last updated October 2, 2026

These terms explain how StreamShield works and what you can expect from us. We have tried to keep them plain and short.

1. Who we are

StreamShield (“StreamShield”, “we”, “us”) is operated by StreamShield.xyz as a Rifflift product. By visiting streamshield.xyz, paying for protection or using your report page, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What StreamShield does

We monitor the music catalog of the Spotify artist profile you give us. We compare your tracks with playlists we have flagged for bot-like activity, show the results on a report page, and tell you when we find a risky playlist. If you ask us to, we also report a flagged playlist to Spotify or your distributor on your behalf.

StreamShield is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Spotify or any music distributor.

3. No guarantees about outcomes

Our flags, grades and risk labels are our own assessment, based on signals we can observe. They are not decisions made by Spotify. We may miss a harmful playlist, and we may flag one that turns out to be fine.

We cannot and do not promise that Spotify or a distributor will not remove music, withhold royalties or take any other action, or that any report or appeal will succeed. Nothing we provide is legal advice.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are the artist, or you are authorised to act for them.
  • The information you give us, including your Spotify artist link, is accurate.
  • You do not buy streams, bots or fake playlist placements, and you do not use StreamShield to hide that you did.
  • You do not use our reports to harass curators or anyone else.

5. Payment

The price is shown at checkout in US dollars and is paid through PayPal. It is a one-time payment that covers protection for one year from the date of purchase. It does not renew automatically. Prices for new purchases may change. Taxes may apply depending on where you live.

6. Refunds

If StreamShield is not what you expected, email support@streamshield.xyz within 7 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full through PayPal. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion, except where the law gives you a right to one.

7. Reporting on your behalf

If you ask us to report a playlist, we do so in good faith, using the information we hold. You allow us to use your Spotify artist link and distributor details for that purpose. We do not control how Spotify or a distributor responds, or how long it takes.

8. Report pages are not private

Your report is shown at a web address based on your public Spotify artist ID. Anyone who has that address, or who knows your artist ID, can view it. It shows public Spotify information and our findings. It does not show your email address or payment details.

If you would like your report taken down, email support@streamshield.xyz.

9. Availability and changes to the service

A first scan usually finishes within 1 to 6 hours, but this is an estimate and not a commitment. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, and it depends on data from Spotify, which can change. We may change or retire features. If we end the service during a period you have paid for, we will refund the unused part.

10. Intellectual property

We own the service, the site, its design and our database of flagged playlists. You may use your own report for your own purposes, including sharing it with Spotify or your distributor as evidence. You may not scrape, copy or resell our data at scale. Spotify names, artwork and trademarks belong to their owners.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranties, express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

12. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost royalties or lost streams. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service. You can stop using StreamShield at any time. Refunds are covered in section 6.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for active customers we will email you about material changes. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be handled by a court or other competent authority with jurisdiction over the dispute, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
